Wahoo KICKR V6 – astoundingly good features

The new Wahoo smart trainer KICKR V6 is equipped with great features to enhance your training experience. A integral part of the direct-drive trainer is its cushioned feet which react to the movements of the rider to intentionally allow a degree of lateral motion to simulate the feeling of riding outdoors. Furthermore, the automatic calibration guarantees data is continuously accurate.

The KICKR smart trainer can generate a max power of 2200 watts with an accuracy of +/-1%. With a simulated incline of up to 20%, it is especially effective for practising accents. This makes the KICKR smart trainer more than adequate for challenging the world’s best cyclists. When connected to a smartphone, tablet, laptop, PC or GPS bike computer, adjustments to the resistance level can be made automatically by the software to match a virtual route or training programme.

The Wahoo smart trainer KICKR V6 supports a wireless connection to the internet via WiFi. This allows for significantly more stable and faster data transfer and access to advanced technologies. The smart trainer can also wirelessly connect to a smartphone, tablet and other electronic devices.

In case of an interruption, the ERG Easy Ramp mode helps you easily resume your interval training by smoothly getting you back up to your target wattage in 10 seconds. This allows you to seamlessly continue your training without having to instantaneously produce the same level of power.

For the first time ever, the Wahoo KICKR is equipped with an odometer to let you track the lifetime distance travelled. This data can be viewed via the app.

The Wahoo KICKR smart trainer V6 offers an impressively wide selection of entertainment options. To give you more training variety, you can use race simulation apps like Zwift or Kinomap.
